The Centrale Bank van Aruba (CBA) informs that the silver 5 Florin commemorative coin “40 years Status Aparte and 50 years Flag and National Anthem” is obtainable as of March 17, 2026 at the CBA.

Since January 1, 1986 is Aruba an autonomous country  in  the  Kingdom  of  the  Netherlands. The  “Status Aparte”  celebrates  40  years  in 2026:  four  decades  in  which  Aruba strengthened  its  identity  and  in which it showed perseverance and vision.  At  the  same  time,  Aruba  also celebrates  50 years  of  its Flag  and  National Anthem  (Aruba  Dushi  Tera):  these  national symbols are inextricably linked with the past, the present, and the future of the country.
